Who Qualifies For The Bursary Or Student Loan From NSFAS?



The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) has formally opened the 2025 application procedure.

Applications are actually open and may close on fifteen December 2024.

*** Who qualifies for NSFAS funding

To qualify for NSFAS funding, an applicant should fulfill the following requirements:

• Be a South African citizen or copyright who emanates from a home having a combined gross domestic income that doesn't exceed R350 000 per annum.

• SASSA recipients automatically qualify for funding and need not post any proof of earnings.

The NSFAS Loan Scheme for the missing middle is nsfas check open to all South African citizens and permanent residents from homes with combined R350 000 and R600 000 for each annum.
